Tinted Lip Balms

Since Halloween month is over, which means that now we're in November and it is WINTER SEASON! I don't really have a favorite season but I do enjoy wearing comfortable sweaters and warm boots. I know that my lips gets chapped really easily, especially during the winter time, and I know that I'm not the only here. Lipsticks can dry out your lips very quickly, and sometimes putting a gloss over it just seems too heavy, well at least for me. So if you are someone like me, I think you'd like my suggestions ;) So how can you make your lips look plump and juicy during the winter seasons? Here I have a couple of tinted lip balms that I love and is typically what I go for not only during the winter and the summer, but also all-year round.

Maybelline Baby Lips ($3.99)
Just a few days ago, I picked up 'Cherry Me' (far left, orange packaging). I'm not sure about the other flavors, but 'Cherry Me' does in fact tastea and smells like cherries! It a red color and it comes off as a subtle red, bringing enough color to my lips but not overdone for a daily look! :) Perfect for the summer!

Fresh Sugar Plum ($22.50)
This might look a bit intimidating at first but I promise it does not come off as dark as it looks like. I find this color perfect for the transition from autumn to winter. What I also like about it is that it contains SPF 15, which protects and conditions your lips while bringing your lips a swipe of color.

Fresh Sugar Rose ($22.50)
For those who prefer a more wearable look, I highly recommend this one. This is my first tinted lip balm that I've purchased and I love it! It also contains SPF 15. This is pretty much my go to lip product during the summer!

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balms ($7.00)
Don't even let me start how much I am in love with Burt's Bees' tinted lip balms! I'm obsessed! I always keep one of these, usually 'Tiger Lily', in my purse/bag. It's easy, it's quick, perfect if you're on the go! I know it's quite a small selection of colors, but I think the number of shades is enough. Lighter lips/more natural look: 'Tiger Lily.' Darker lips/more of a evening look: 'Hibiscus.'

Maybelline Lip Smooth Color & Care (22 RMB or $3.50)
Again, although from the stick it looks really opaque, realistically it's quite sheer and I actually really like it this way. Why? Because opaque lip colors are what lipsticks are for, not lip balms. I really like this line because it has a huge color selection that you could choose from. I got these Maybelline tinted lip balms in China. Unfortunately, Mabelline doesn't carry them here in the United States. However, if you are interested and if you could read Chinese, click here for the website.

And that's all!:)
