Helloooooo! So, I have decided that this will be my traveling journal. This year for JanTerm I'm going to Dominican Republic! Pretty exciting, huh? We all met at the DFW airport at 5:30am and I almost lost my suitcase. What a great start. Our first stop was Cincinnati and then New York. During our layover in New York, my friends and I enjoyed our last taste of American goodness. At Buffalo Wild Wings, I indulged myself in potato wedges with loads and loads of bacon and cheese. It was great. And in which I quickly regretted afterwards.

After three plane rides we finally arrived Santo Domingo! The weather here is quite humid, but the cool breeze feels really nice. Getting all 26 of us and our luggages into this "bus" was quite like a tetris game. But we made it work anyway! Thank you AC, hope you're proud of us! It would have taken us way too long to drop every single one of us off at our host family's so we stayed at a hotel nearby. It was a long, and tiring day. So glad we got here safely and I'm excited to see what the rest of this trip has in store for us! :)
